Peter Moy
Director
Peter Moy is a retired principal from FCS Group where he advised state and local governments on management and financial issues involving the spectrum of public services. He began his work career as a management auditor with the Congressional watchdog agency, the United States Government Accountability Office. He later worked for the Seattle City Council as a program analyst, Director of Legislative Audits, and the Assistant Director of the Council's Central Staff where he acted as the City Council's primary financial advisor and managed a staff responsible for analyzing policy and program issues. He then worked as an independent consultant before joining FCS Group.
Along with his working career, Mr. Moy was also an active community member as a board member of both small and large community organizations. He has served as a commissioner for the Seattle Housing Authority, as a board member for United Way of King County, the Asian Counseling & Referral Service, the Wing Luke Asian Museum, the Seattle Chinatown International District Public Development Authority, the Washington Association of Sewer and Water Districts, and the Seattle King County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Board of Trustees. He held leadership positions as president and vice president on several of these boards.
Mr. Moy grew up in Menlo Park, California. He graduated from the University of California Berkeley where he graduated with an MBA in Finance and with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Organizational Behavior and Industrial Relations.
