Leah Alvarado

Chief of Staff

Leah brings over a decade of experience in nonprofit healthcare sector leadership. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to building relationships and supporting the well-being of community members. Her expertise in strategic planning and organizational leadership has allowed her to make significant contributions to the field of aging and healthcare.

Prior to joining NAPCA, she served as the Associate Director of a continuing medical education organization, where she contributed to the development of strategic plans for multiple programs focused on improving care for people at all stages of life. 

Leah has a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University (Redmond, Washington), and her undergraduate degree in Molecular Cell Biology from Texas A&M University. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, gardening, dancing, and giving back to her community through volunteer work.
