Technical Analyst, Level IV

NAPCA needs a senior 55 years of age or older (PL-98-313) to work under the Senior Environmental Employment (SEE) Program, for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in Washington, DC.

Qualifications:

Must be 55 years of age or older and have a bachelor’s degree. Be fluent in the use of computers and intermediate-advanced proficient in MS Excel and SharePoint. Have excellent customer service, data analysis, data visualization, organization and communication (written and verbal) skills. Have ability to learn and become proficient in using EPA’s budgeting system.

Duties and Responsibilities:    

  • Monthly performance report support: Under guidance of manager and senior staff, review and analyze monthly performance report submissions for completeness and provide feedback to offices, based on the reviews.  Provide technical support to individuals submitting performance reports.
  • Performance report automation: Under guidance of manager and senior staff, assist with data entry and/or QA/QC of performance measure data entered into EPA’s budgeting system to support performance report automation. Provide ongoing technical support to individuals entering performance data into the system.
  • Strategic Reviews/Risk Assessments: Under guidance of manager and senior staff, assist in synthesizing and analyzing summaries of findings and risk assessments to assess agency progress toward EPA’s strategic objectives.

Benefits:

$14.00 per hour / 40 hours per week. Temporary year-to-year. Holidays, vacation, sick leave, insurance.
