Xiufen immigrated to the U.S. seven years ago and brings a strong background in education and engineering. She holds a master’s degree in structural engineering from Tsinghua University and previously served as a college instructor, student counselor, and deputy chief engineer at Tsinghua University.

From 2021 to 2025, Xiufen participated in NAPCA’s Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP), where she gained hands-on experience as a trainee in NAPCA’s call center. Now a full-time member of the team, she continues to support the call center and empowers older adults by teaching digital skills, helping them navigate today’s technology with confidence.
